MEET STÉPHANE

I was born in Metz and grew up in Reims, far from the sea. But every summer my family headed to the Côte d’Azur, and there, with my grandfather, I discovered windsurfing on a small lake in Roquebrune-sur-Argens. That was my first lesson. And also my last one as a beginner — because from that day on I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to sailing.

I studied Physical Education and earned the French State Diploma for Sports Education in Sailing. I taught in some of the best destinations in the world — Tunisia, Martinique, Morocco, Brittany, Guadeloupe — before arriving in Tarifa, where in 2013 I founded Wind & Water Experience: a school where every student gets personalized teaching, and where learning means enjoying yourself from the very first minute.

Everyone learns at a different pace, the wind changes every day, and so does every session. That’s why we don’t follow a rigid program — we adapt every class to the person, the wind, and the sea.

Before getting in the water, we help you understand the wind, the equipment, and the basic principles. When you understand why you’re doing something, you learn much faster.

Every exercise is designed to build your confidence step by step, in the best conditions for your level.

Correct

We continuously observe your sailing. Small corrections at the right moment lead to big progress. It’s not about practicing more — it’s about practicing better.

Learning should be fun. No pressure, no stress, with safety. When you enjoy it, you progress faster.
